Christopher P. Ieyoub

Christopher P. Ieyoub, born
October 4, 1960, received a B.A.
degree from McNeese State University
in Lake Charles in 1982 and a
J.D. degree from Tulane Law School
in 1985. Upon graduation, he joined
the firm in Lake Charles where he is
now handling a broad range of cases
with emphasis on premises liability,
toxic tort litigation and police civil
liability. He is admitted to practice
before all of the state and federal
district and appellate courts of
Louisiana and the U.S. Court of
Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a
member of the Southwest Louisiana,
Louisiana State, and American Bar
 
Associations and the Defense
Research Institute.
While in law school, he was
employed by South Central Bell
Telephone Company in its Legal
Department. Since entering practice,
Chris Ieyoub has conducted premises
liability seminars for large
grocery companies, developing
policies and procedures for those
companies to implement in order to
comply with Louisiana statutory and
case law. He has also defended
numerous federal civil rights suits
brought against municipalities and
their police departments
