Jeffrey M. Cole

Jeffrey M. Cole, born September 19, 1954, received a B.A. degree from Louisiana State University in 1976 and a J.D. degree from LSU Law School in 1979. Upon graduation,
he joined the firm in Lake Charles.

He now handles all types of
insurance defense litigation. He is a
member of the Louisiana State, and
Southwest Louisiana Bar Associations
(Past President 2005), Louisiana
Association of Defense Counsel
(Past Board Member) and
Southwest Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel (President, 1985).
He is admitted to practice before all
of the state and federal district courts
of Louisiana, all of the state appellate
courts of Louisiana, and the U.S.

 

Court of Appeals for the Fifth
Circuit. By appointment of the
Louisiana Supreme Court, he has
served on the Judicial Campaign
Oversight Committee, the Ad Hoc
Committee to study the finances of
the Office of Disciplinary Counsel,
and currently serves on the
Mandatory Continuing Legal
Education Committee.

He is a fellow
of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.
Recognized for his expertise in
the workers’ compensation system in
Louisiana, Jeff Cole has conducted
numerous seminars for claims
adjusters on this subject.
